- What if I have dietary restrictions or allergies? Can we modify slightly the menu listed above?
If you suffer any allergy or dietary restrictions, make sure to inform us during the check-in and we will take the necessary precautions to adapt the menu for you.
- Will you send us the recipes of the meals we’ll have prepared during the experience?
Of course! Right after the cooking class, we’ll send you a digital book with the recipes and tips learned during the day.
- Is this cooking class family friendly? If I am bringing an infant/very young child, do I need to purchase a ticket for them?
Yes, you can! Children will certainly love discovering new flavours! If you’re travelling with a child under 6 or an infant, there is no need to buy a ticket for them. However, still, let us know if you’re going to bring a child under 6, so our chef knows and will be prepared for it.
This was an experience well worth it! We walked through a market, learning and tasting fruits and vegetables unique to Peru then went to make our 3 course vegan meal and Pisco tonic at the chef’s house. Guillermo was an incredible chef who taught us how to make everything at home! Can’t wait to recreate this delicious pisco tonic!
We really enjoy our time with Pia! At the market we were able to taste different local fruits and then we went to her apartment, where we started cooking our vegan dishes. Pia was amazing, she is very friendly and answered all our questions about Peru and food. Everything we cooked was delicious and we had a lot of fun!
When I met Pia at the market, she was so friendly that I knew the day was going to be a good one! In the market, I got to taste some local fruits that I absolutely loved! We walked around, chatting while picking up additional ingredients for our dishes. Heading back to Pia’s to cook, we made a wonderful lunch. I love being hands-on. I was totally stuffed after lunch. Thank you so much to Exquisito Peru and Pia for a wonderful experience!
